Freezing temperature warning – cold snap – snow coming

The National Weather Service warns of freezing temperatures that can damage landscapes and gardens as temperatures will likely fall to the freeze mark tonight north of I-69 and Tuesday and Wednesday night the overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 20’s.

NWS is also predicting accumulating snowfall bringing possible hazardous driving conditions in southeast Michigan Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with 1-4 inches- especially on grassy surfaces. Locally higher amounts will be possible-particularly over higher elevations of the Irish Hills from M-59 corridor to the south.
