Warm welcome for new Canton fire station

Canton Township officials recently took part in a ceremonial ribbon cutting for their new Fire Station #2, located on Warren Road, west of Haggerty Road.

The new $6.5 million station was dedicated on March 11. In addition to staff the modern new facility will be home to a ladder truck and two ambulances to serve the northeast section of Canton.

Fire officials are hoping to be able to host an open house for the public later this year.
