A complete guide to Art In The Park is included in this week’s edition of The Eagle.

In its 37-year history Art In The Park has grown to be the second largest art fair in Michigan.  Held every year in July, this 3-day event assembles over 400 artists from all over the country who display their work to nearly 300,000 attendees.

Downtown Plymouth – July 8-9-10

The event will have TWO NEW Shuttle locations.  The event is sponsoring a shuttle service from the Burroughs parking lot at Plymouth Road and Haggerty Road in Plymouth Township.  In addition, the event will be running shuttles from the large parking lot at Madonna University in Livonia on the corner of Schoolcraft and Five Mile Road.  The Madonna University site is approximately at 10 minute charter motor coach ride to the event.  The Burroughs lot is about five minutes away, depending on train traffic.

Parking in and around the downtown area will be extremely limited and organizers suggest using the shuttles whenever possible.  Municipal Lots will still be charging $5.00 for each entry.

For complete event information go to their web site at www.artinthepark.com or call 734-453-1234 24 hours a day.
