Captain Dustin Krueger was publicly commended recently for being voted “Police Officer of the Year” by his peers from the City of Northville Police Department. During 2018, Krueger served as acting police chief for approximately five months and “did an outstanding job” according to officials. Police Chief Alan Maciag detailed Krueger’s multiple accomplishments to members of the city council prior to the award presentation. Mayor Ken Roth congratulated Krueger and presented him with a plaque and certificate. He was also congratulated by members of the city council, other officers and his family who were in attendance.
