Salem High student wins auto show Chairman’s Award

Elizabeth Lu, a Plymouth Salem High School senior, has won North American International Auto Show kudos for her poster. Lu was awarded the $1,000 grand prize of the Chairman’s Award for her design.

The 31st annual poster contest drew more than 750 entries from 58 Michigan schools with the goal of giving young artists the chance to be part of one of the largest auto shows in the world.

Poster entries were judged by an independent panel of art community members, and all entries including Lu’s was posted on the NAIAS website. Lu’s poster was also displayed at Cobo Center and included in the official NAIAS program.
