Music in the Park starts Wednesday

Music In The Park, a 34-year “Summer Wednesday at Noon” tradition will be hosted again this year by the Plymouth Community Arts Council.

The concerts are planned for noon Wednesdays in Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth. The concerts take place rain or shine, but are moved to The Gathering across from the park in case of rain.

Concerts will begin June 20 and continue through Aug. 29.

The 10-week concert series is free to the public and made possible through the generosity of community business and organization sponsors.

The schedule this year includes:

6-20   Earth Angels

6-27   Nick Fugedi

7-11   Gemini (with the Plymouth Fife & Drum Corps)

7-18   Mr. Nick Davio

7-25   Beverly Meyer, The Music Lady

8-1     Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic

8-8     Joe Tracey’s Tip Top Entertainment

8-22   Chautauga Express

8-29   Miss Paula & The Candy Bandits
