Another CVS hit by armed gunman in Northville

Northville Township police report that despite a continuing search by police officers from various agencies with K-9 dogs and a helicopter, an armed gunman is still at large in the northwest area of Five Mile and Sheldon Roads after a robbery of the CVS store.

Police report the robbery occurred around 10:00 p.m. last night. Police were asking people to avoid the area and residents to shelter in place. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is said to be a while male wearing all black clothes, approximately 5’8”, 150 pounds.

This is the second armed robbery in less than one week in Northville. On Sept 4, 2018, Township police reported a lone gunman wearing all black with a ski mask and carrying a long gun rushed the door of the CVS store located 6 mile and Haggerty and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.
