Addiction and the heroin-opioid epidemic will be the topic of a special study session scheduled for Oct. 17 by the Canton Board of Trustees. Guest speakers along with Canton Police and Fire Department personnel will take an in-depth look at the issues and discuss strategies and opportunities for recovery and healing.

A question and answer session involving all speakers will conclude the evening.  The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the board room of the Canton Administration Building, 1150 Canton Center S. The meeting is open to the public.
