Concours d’Elegance coming to Plymouth

Plymouth will once again host the Concours d’Elegance of America, Sunday, July 28. The famed world – class auto show will showcase 300 vintage and classic cars and motorcycles, attracting 10,000 attendees to the Plymouth – Plymouth Township community. The 3-day event starts on Friday, July 26. at the Inn of St. Johns. The Concours is one of the most prestigious automotive displays in the world.

It is said that the Concours d’Elegance of America has the most diverse field unrivaled by any other Concours. The finest classic cars will be on full display for the purists at heart. They will be flanked by some of the most unique and exquisite featured classes ever seen together. This year featured classes include; Ferrari Race and Sports cars, The Rise and Fall of the Cadillac Fin, 100 Years of Bentley, Rolls Royce, Alternative Fuels, Woodies, Muscle Cars Class of ’69, AA/Gas Supercharged Drag Cars and Modern Collectibles.

Famed Motor Trend TV celebrity – friend and supporter of the Concours, Wayne Carini will be the 2019 Grand Marshall and make a guest appearance at a Cars and Coffee event held on Saturday, July 27, from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. With a lifetime of experience in automobile restoration, the master car restorer has a resume that includes body and paintwork on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl and the DuPont family. He’s been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, and is the star of Motor Trend’s TV series Chasing Classic Cars.
