Canton Police investigate bank robbery

Canton Police are asking for assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect and have released surveillance photos taken at the Best Bank located inside Kroger on Michigan Avenue at Canton Center Road.

The suspect, who implied he was armed is described only as a black male wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap.

The robbery occurred on Jun. 13, 2013 at approximately 12:45 PM. There were no reported in injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact the Canton Police Department at 734/394-5400. Crime Stoppers will also take anonymous tips at 1-800-SPEAK UP, or online to www.1800speakup.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for a tip that leads an arrest.
