Police search for gun-wielding assailant – ADAM employee shot

Canton Police have released surveillance photos of a gun-wielding assailant who shot an employee of the ADAM (Alcohol Drug Administrative Monitoring) facility, located at 5820 N. Lilley Rd., Monday, Nov. 16, 2020.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at 7:00 p.m. when an armed female suspect entered the building carrying a handgun and demanded cash. During the incident the suspect discharged her handgun striking one victim who was subsequently transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injury. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The female suspect is described as having dark skin, age 20 to 30, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and red mask.
