Head-on crash claims 2 lives

Two men died in an early morning crash Oct. 31 in Northville Township.

Northville Township Police responded to the area of Eight Mile Road and Sports Park Drive, between Beck and Napier roads at about 3:51 a.m.

According to preliminary police investigative reports, a Ford F-150 truck traveling wastbound on Eight Mile Road crossed the center line and struck a blue Mercury traveling eastbound. Both men died in the head on collision according to police reports of the incident.

Eight Mile Road was closed for several hours Wednesday morning during the police processing of the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
