Police seek help after shooting at teen club

Canton Police are seeking public assistance in an effort to identify individuals possibly involved in a weekend shooting incident.

The featured Plymouth Voice surveillance video was taken just prior to the incident that occurred after midnight on Feb. 9 at the After Dark teen nightclub on North Lilley Road. The persons of interest are highlighted.

Police reports say a 16-year old male was involved in altercation in the parking lot with another group of males. During an argument one of the males in the opposing group shot the 16 year old in the thigh. The suspect then fled the scene. The teenager was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Canton Police at 734-394-5400.

Crime Stoppers will also take anonymous tips at 1-800-SPEAK UP, or by texting CSM and your tip information to 274637.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for a tip that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
