Plymouth restaurant and bar owners, the backbone of Plymouth’s commerce, have proven to be a tenacious group – with stamina and determination to stay open – despite the hardship of forced closings due to the coronavirus shutdown.

With business severely restricted, the majority of Plymouth dining rooms and bars – closed since March 16, after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued her stay-home-stay-safe order, are still hanging-on.

Here’s the latest Plymouth restaurant/food open-for-business list assembled by the Downtown Development Authority:

Simply Fresh Mediterranean Grill reopens May 11. Our temporary hours will be..Monday-Friday 2-7, Saturday 12-6, Closed on Sunday. We will be following proper social distancing protocols if you decide to come in and pick up your order. If you prefer curbside please call us when you arrive and we will be happy to bring your order to your car. Online ordering is available as well. Please share with friends and family!

Alpine Chocolat Haus is back open 2p-7p every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The store will be open for customers to browse, however please respect all social distancing guidelines and occupancy limits. We will be doing curbside pickup at either in front or at the rear of our store at 322 S. Main St. For curbside, please call ahead at 734-389-7570 and we’ll bring your order out to your vehicle if you like. Chocolate dipped fresh strawberries available Friday and Saturday.

Barrio –thanks everyone for the continued support and especially to our great staff who work tirelessly to provide contact free curbside carryout for the community. In order to provide much needed relief to our staff we have updated our business hours which take effect this Monday, May 4. Tuesday-Sunday: 3 p.m.-8 p.m., Monday: Closed

Stella’s Black Dog Tavern—Bob, Stella and our entire team want to thank you for your continued support of the Tavern. We are utilizing a very small team of employees who are ensuring that the freshest food goes out the door for curbside pickup during this unprecedented time, Everyone is COVID-19 certified and we are utilizing face masks and gloves at all times, as well as cleaning and sanitizing constantly. We are excited to be broadening our menu every day. You can find the daily family meal ($20 for a family of four) as well as the daily menu on Facebook. We post it at noon when we open to take orders that can be picked up between 2 and 7 daily for curbside carry-out. If you don’t have access to Facebook, please call us for the menu. We only have two phone lines and one person answering, so we genuinely appreciate your patience! We also have an awesome Mother’s Day menu so you can still buy Mom dinner on her special day! Sean O’Callaghan’s carry-out now available –  Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Family meals are available and you can order a six pack and bottles of wine to go. Buy a $50 gift card, receive a free $10 gift card.

NICO & VALI’s new business hours are: Monday–Sunday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. We’re offering our dinner and catering menus, as well as our “Gourmet-to-Go” options. Panera Bread will be closed until the COVID-19 crisis is over.

Hermann’s Olde Town Grille is now open for carry out from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Although we encourage online ordering (hermannsoldetowngrille.patronpath.com) you can also order by phone at (734) 451-1213. Carryout beer is also available! We are offering two for one bottles and cans along with a daily mixed six pack special, aka the “J-PACK” (Jonny’s choice). Thanks so much for the love and support.

Boule Artisan Bakery in order to best serve our customers, and keep our employees safe and healthy, we will be shortening our hours. We will be open Tuesday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. All pre-ordered bread must be picked up one hour prior to the posted closing time. Customers are more than welcome to come inside and order their bread, but we are also offering curbside service for those who wish to remain in their cars. Pizza Spot! we have re-opened. Our hours of operation will be Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. We will be offering pick up and delivery as well as Door Dash.

Dairy King is back in business. Window service only. Limited Hours: noon to 9 p.m. daily. Limited Menu: We’re carrying over 30 flavors of scooped ice cream and of course our delicious chocolate and vanilla soft-serve. Slushes, novelties and popsicles as well. We are not offering our yogurt and orange and vanilla creamsicle at this time. Your safety is our number one concern and we’re doing everything we can to make sure your trip to the DK is a safe one. Ironwood Grill and Park Place Gastro Pub – is implementing new policies and procedures for the safety of our staff and patrons during this COVID-19 outbreak, We will be open from 3:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. We are no longer offering delivery service and will only do CURBSIDE carryout. You stay in your car and we will bring your order to you! Max and Bella’s Smokehouse will be open regular hours during all of this for regular orders and bulk orders.

Compari’s on the Park will remain open for all of your carry out and catering needs while the dine-in restaurant ban is in effect. We are offering FREE delivery, carryout, or curbside pickup from noon daily. We’ve specially curated several carryout and catering packages with you in mind, along with limited menu options. We will include a free reusable bag for all orders over $50 while supplies last. Free delivery applies to orders over $25. If less than $25 there will be a $3 delivery fee added on. Omelette and Waffle Cafe now offer an essentials box for $30 that includes : 4 apples, 4 oranges, 1 broccoli, 2 onions, 2 carrots, 1 cabbage, 1 celery, 2 cucumber, 1 iceberg, 1 romaine, 5 potato, 1 grapes. Kilwins is open Monday-Saturday 12 p.m.—8 p.m. , and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. for carryout, curbside pickup, and delivery through Grubhub. We have added a contact free carry out station as well. Greek Islands will be closed Monday; open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday form 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. We know a little comfort food can go a long way, you can count on Greek Islands.

The Sardine Room has brunch to go on Sundays. 10 a.m. -2 p.m. or until we sell out. Advanced orders through our website are appreciated. If ordering day of, please call 734-416-0500 as early as 9 a.m. for carry out or curbside pickup only (no delivery). Check out specials for Mother’s Day weekend.

Starbucks is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday May 6. We will be mobile order pick up ONLY. Customers will que outside the store and we will be handing drinks out at the front door. Our cafe lobby will NOT be open to the public at this time. All employees will be adhering to the highest safety standards. Wearing face masks at all times and sanitizing all work areas and hand washing consistently. Our hours of operation have changed slightly. Monday-Saturday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday 6 a.m. -8 p.m.

Kemnitz is accepting phone orders for pick up or mailing through USPS. 1.) Call 734-453-0480 leave a message with your name, phone number and order (please do NOT leave your credit card number). 2.) We will return your phone call within 24hrs to finalize your order and get your credit card number (we are currently not accepting cash). We will set up a time for you to pick up your order between the hours of 10am – 3pm, Monday through Saturday. If you choose not to pick up your order we will get mailing instructions from you and ship it USPS. 3.) Your order will befilled and your credit card will be charged (receipt will be stapled to the bag/ mail order receipts can be enclosed in your box or mailed separately).
