Fire Stations hosts tour – open house

City of Plymouth

The City of Plymouth Fire Station will be open for free tours along with an open house from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Oct. 7 to celebrate National Fire Prevention Week.

Tours will continue Monday, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 13 and are suitable for adults and children. To schedule a group tour, contact the City Fire Department at (734) 453-1234 extension 280 or email at jdavison@ci.plymouth.mi.us.

The station is located at 201 S. Main. Several interactive demonstrations will be on display.

 

Plymouth Township

Plymouth Township Fire Department’s Fire Safety Open House will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 am to 2 pm at Fire Station #1 at 9955 N. Haggerty. Visitors can meet the Firefighters, learn how to use a fire extinguisher, view fire safety demonstrations, spray fire hoses in the squirt house, go through the fire safety-training house and more.
