Ann Arbor local songwriter-musician Annie Bacon nears the finish line with her 8-cities “Long Road Tour,” when she performs at the Coffee Bean on Saturday, Sept. 28. The San-Fran transplant brings her heartfelt voice, indelible melodies and lyrical compositions to Plymouth, after Nashville, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit and Chelsea.

Whatever you want to call it, folk, blues or soul, Bacon’s vocal style brings to mind greats from the likes of Rickie Lee Jones, Woody Guthire to Joni Mitchell to Tracy Chapman, with a voice that’s soothing and bracing with a rich folk, jazz and blues tradition.

Bacon’s just released new single, “Two-Way Street,” is already sold-out.

Bacon’s California Friends is a musical duo with vocalist/songwriter Rachel Garcia and guitarist/songwriter Thu Tran.

The Coffee Bean is located at 884 Penniman in downtown Plymouth.
