Canton police seek public assistance

Canton police released a State Police composite sketch of a male suspect involved in an assault that occurred last month in Canton.

Police say the assailant, described as approximately 140 pounds, 5 foot to 5 foot 7, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans, fled the scene as a passenger in an older, dark colored 2-door vehicle.

Anyone with information that may lead to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Canton Police at 734-394-5400.
