Marsha, the dog rescued from the streets of Detroit by the late Wayne State police officer Collin Rose and his fiancée Nikki Salgot before he was fatally shot in November 2016 has been found safe. The 5 year-old Golden mix escaped four days ago from the parking lot of a veterinary office in Rochester Hills after slipping out of her collar.

A cooperative effort by friends and volunteers located the dog early Sunday morning. According to reports, two women experienced in tracking lost animals who set out food in the area the dog was last spotted, found Marsha in a cage about 4:00 a.m.
