Plymouth Community Arts Council to hold annual open exhibit

The Plymouth Community Arts Council has announced a Call for Entries for its 5th Annual Open Juried Exhibit, Out of the Blue, an exhibit featuring artwork in any media that highlight or feature the color Blue.
Artists 18 and over are invited to enter 2-dimensional pieces of a reasonable size. Art must be framed and ready to hang, or be a finished edge canvas. Entry fee will be $25 per artist for up to 2 pieces. All artwork must be clearly labeled with name, phone number, title, media and price. At least one submitted piece from each artist must be for sale. Art may be rejected if it is oversized, or if it has been exhibited previously in our gallery.
Art will be juried. Pieces not accepted for the exhibit will need to be picked up at the PCAC on April 2nd between 9:00 am and 4:00pm. Artists will be contacted only if pieces have not been accepted.
An Artists Reception will be held at the Plymouth Community Arts Council on April 5th, 2014, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

March 28th 5:00pm – 6:30pm, Art Submission Drop Off (day 1)
March 31st 9:00am – 1:00pm, Art Submission Drop Off (day 2)
April 5th 3:00pm – 5:00pm, Artists Reception at PCAC
April 30th – Exhibit Takedown
Gallery hours are Monday-Thursdays, 9:00 am-4:00pm, during all public events and by appointment. The exhibit runs from April 5th through April 29th.
