Next Tuesday, residents across the state will have the unique opportunity to make choices about the future of their community, their schools, public safety and their representation in Washington, D.C. While every election is characterized as crucial and important, those words have never been more apt than this balloting. We urge every registered voter, without exception, to get to the polls and vote.

Your vote is more important now than ever-we cannot urge you strongly enough to let your VOICE be heard.

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

All City of Plymouth precincts are at the Plymouth Cultural Center, located at 525 Farmer.

The City of Plymouth Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday, Nov. 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for residents who are registered to vote in the City to pick-up absent voter ballots, fill them out and place them in the absentee ballot bin.  You may check your voter registration status at the Michigan Voter Information Center.

Absentee ballots can be issued until Monday, Nov. 5 at 4:00 p.m. The elector must request the ballot in-person at Plymouth City Hall, located at 201 S. Main.

Plymouth Township polls will be open at the following voting locations.

Precinct 1        –           St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N. Haggerty Road

Precinct 2        –           Friendship Station, 42375 Schoolcraft Road

Precinct 3        –           Plymouth Twp. Clerk’s Office, 9955 N. Haggerty Road

Precinct 4        –           Starkweather Academy at Fiegel, 39750 Joy Road

Precinct 5        –           Isbister Elementary School, 9300 Canton Center Road

Precinct 6        –           West Middle School, 44401 Ann Arbor Trail

Precinct 7        –           Church of the Nazarene, 45801 Ann Arbor Road, W.

Precinct 8        –           Praise Baptist Church, 45000 North Territorial Road

Precinct 9        –           Living Word Church, 46500 North Territorial Road

Precinct 10      –           Northridge Church, 49555 North Territorial Road

Precinct 11      –           Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 46250 Ann Arbor Road, W.

Precinct 12      –           Pioneer Middle School, 44081 Ann Arbor Road, W.

 

SPECIAL NOTES ON CERTAIN PRECINCT LOCATIONS

Precinct 1 – St. Kenneth Catholic Church. There is currently construction going on at their main building. Voting will take place in the usual location on the St. Kenneth campus; take care in avoiding the construction zone when trying to park.

Precinct 7 – Church of the Nazarene. The entrance for voting has been moved to the rear of the building – please take note and park and enter properly.

Precinct 10 – Northridge Church. Voters will enter through the usual location; however, the polls will be located in the basement area of the Church. An elevator is available for those that need it. Please follow the posted directions.

Please bring your photo I.D. (driver’s license) or be prepared to complete an affidavit that you are not in possession of your photo I.D.

Allow sufficient time for voting and please be patient. Precinct inspectors have a great deal of responsibility in issuing ballots and recording information. Try to avoid the busiest times of 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
