Weatherman sets stage for Plymouth Ice Festival

Weather WarningBaby, it’s cold outside!

Artic air will make its first big push into the Southeastern counties today bringing wind chills down to 15 degrees below zero; perfect timing for those ready to celebrate 2015 with the 33rd Annual Plymouth Ice Festival arriving this Friday throughout downtown and Kellogg Park. The Festival runs through Sunday.

The National Weather Service Detroit Forecast Office in White Lake reports a clipper system will slide south of the state tonight spreading 1 to 3 inches of snow across lower Michigan with highest accumulations expected near the Ohio border.

The forecast for Wednesday night and Thursday morning calls for wind chills falling down to the 15 degree below zero range.
