The 35th Annual Plymouth Ice Festival will officially open with a ribbon cutting at 7 p.m. Friday in the bandshell at Kellogg Park and bring nearly 100,000 people into downtown Plymouth during the three-day weekend.

One big attraction of the weekend, according to organizer and producer James Geitzen of JAG Entertainment, is the Party Lot behind E.G. Nick’s on Forest Avenue. The Party Lot will have cold beer, drink specials and live entertainment from Big Ray and Motor City Kings on Friday, Jan. 6 and Fifty Amp Fuse on Saturday, Jan. 7.

The Official Guide to the Ice Festival is included with this week’s edition of The Eagle and is available at local businesses.
