The hotly contested Plymouth Township supervisor campaign gets into high-gear on Tuesday when Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex (PARC) holds their first campaign forum showcasing the two Republican candidates running for the job; Shannon Price and Kurt Heise.

Heise, a Michigan House of Representatives member in his third term, is challenging Supervisor Shannon Price, who was appointed to fill a vacancy in April of 2015. Heise cannot run for re-election to the House because of term limits. Price resigned during his second term as Wayne County Commissioner in District 10 and moved to the township from Canton to seek the vacancy left by Supervisor Richard Reaume. Reaume who resigned, was the supervisor for 10 years, had been the target of a heated recall campaign along with three other board members.

The forum will also feature the candidates for Clerk, Treasurer and Trustee.

The forum starts at 7:00 p.m at the PARC facility located at 650 Church St., in downtown Plymouth. For more information call: (734) 927-4095.
