Canton Police Department is asking for public assistance in locating a missing person after receiving a report from a relative on August 27, 2016 at approximately 12:47 a.m.

The missing person, Pete Rakovitis, (75), was last seen at the Nativity of Virgin Mary Church at 5 mile and Haggerty Road in Plymouth Township at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday August 27, 2016. The Nativity of Virgin Mary is near the Lake Pointe subdivision.

Mr. Rakovitis, 5’2”, 172 lbs. and has brown eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a blue and white checkered long-sleeve shirt with black dress pants. Mr. Rakovitis drives a blue 1997 Ford Ranger, license plate of DHZ955.

Anyone with information on Mr Rakovitis whereabouts is asked to contact the Canton Police Department Detective Bureau at (734) 394-5400.
