City of Plymouth road construction update

September 17, 2012  PLYMOUTH EAGLE.

 

 

The City of Plymouth Road Paving and Infrastructure is continuing with work
on three different streets now in progress.

SUTHERLAND  Between Main and McKinley – The landscape contractor is working in the area and will make initial repairs to sprinkler systems before bringing in top soil and sod to complete the restoration.  Work being completed to adjust manhole covers to the proper final road height.  Final paving will not occcur until after restoration work is complete.

HARVEY  Between Wing and Sutherland – The installation of the concrete curbs is nearly complete.  Contractors will return in the middle of next week to work on driveway ramps and the ADA Corner ramps.

ADAMS  Between Tennis Courts and Farmer – Underground work is continuing in this section of roadway and it is impacting traffic on Farmer Street.  Contractors will begin excavating the roadway and installing a new stone sub-base on or around October 1st.
