Canton to honor Olympic Gold Medalists

UPDATE:  There will be one performance only on Sunday, Mar. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the event.

The Canton community will honor Olympic Gold Medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White this weekend during a celebration at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill.

The team of Davis and White captivated audiences last month at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, winning the gold medal in ice dancing. Now local residents will have an opportunity to meet the Bloomfield Hills couple in person this Sunday.

FREE tickets will be available at the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway in Canton starting Thursday, Mar. 6, 2014 at 6 p.m., while supplies last.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to a maximum of 4 per adult with identification. Tickets will be distributed with the best availability of seating opportunities available to patrons at time of pickup. Patrons are reminded that there is limited ticket availability for each ticketed event.

The event will be held at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, 50400 Cherry Hill Road, Canton, MI 48187.
