Armed robbery at Chase Bank in Northville

Northville Township police are searching for a man said to have robbed the Chase Bank located at Seven Mile and Silver Spring Drive on Thursday morning around 9:40 a.m. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Police report a white male approximately  50-years old walked up t0 a bank teller and stated “open your drawer, this is a robbery.” The suspect implied he had a weapon.

A release stated the suspect took the cash out of the teller’s drawer and left on foot westbound Seven Mile Road from the bank. The man is described as a white male, 50 years of age with green eyes and short beard. He was wearing brown short-sleeve T shirt, black pants, and a brown baseball cap.

 

Officers reported the lockdown for area schools and businesses was lifted at 12:00 p.m.
